Hi,Just wondered if anyone has any experience of this? Either "Anterior Repair"/Cystocele or "Posterior Repair"/Rectocele.

Good or Bad?

I am booked in to have this done and would be really grateful for some first-hand experience.Even the worst experiences.....

yes - had it done 17 yrs back after baby no. 2
It was FINE. No pain, but you do have to take it easy for several weeks- no lifting anything heavy at all, or driving for a couple of weeks.
The stitches dissolve naturally.
I had to have a catheter for a week as the swelling round bladder opening (internally) stopped my urine flowing - that was the worst bit and i thought I'd never be able to wee again!
Overall, I am pleased- I was uncomfortable before it- I had mainly anterior repair with a bit of posterior.

Please see my other post regarding time off work.

You MUST take it easy otherwise you will not heal and the work will be undone.
