My FIL is quite in firm - can walk short distance with frame, needs daily care, stairlift etc.
But his lovely sister has recently been diagnosed with the big C and we are left wondering how to support his desire to attend the funeral which is about a 4-5 hr drive away.
Anyone got any ideas on whether it is possible? How would be stay overnight somewhere when he needs that level of care. Would private patient transport work.
