didn't want to disrupt flow of other thread!

I would highly recommend it but do find out what style of surgery they are going for.

I thought mine were pretty severe, but turns out they weren't too bad and I had the mildest form of surgery on both feet )a distal osteotomy) I also had a spinal which gives you good pain relief post-op

For distal surgery, you get discharged with really thick bandages (thus is easy to have legs over edge of bath to wash rest of you). You will need constant pain relief for about 10 days.

I have toddlers (4 and 2). DH took 2 weeks off work but TBH he should have had 3. I am 2.5 weeks post-op and driving, but I would have preferred to have waited another week.

Dreaming of finally wearing dainty, feminine shoes.......
