thin i've been poisoned.

started spewing at lunchtime. have the most horrible painful cramps in my guts.
what is the worst bit is the smel. keep burping and it smells of sulphur/rotton eggs and my sick is the same. really really nasty.
went to work. spewed. came home and went to bed at 2. got up just now because DH has gone to bed and i'll wait up until the DDs go at about 9.
i have the most painful cramps across my guts. kept waking me up moaning.

is this a bug or have i been poisoned?
i did warm up my dinner last night in the micro. everyone else seems to be fine.
it hurts. and smells. and i ache all over.

Probably a bug - gastro things usually are.

I had something similar. The rotten egg burps were vile! I thought I had giardia back, which I got in south America and had similar symptoms. I think it was gastric bug though. Got better after 3 days. Hope you feel better soon.

Make sure you get plenty of fluids, and possibly get dh to buy some rehydration salts from the chemist.

What did you "warm up?" If it was only warmed up rather than heated til really hot, then perhaps it is food poisoning. e.g. if it was rice or chicken or similar?

I guess in the long run the cause is irrelevant, the fact is you are feeling terrible. Hope you manage to get some rest and get well soon.

thanks. have arisn from my bed. no more cramps or spewing. was both chicken and rice i warmed up - i know, i know......
am a funny colour now. look like victorian waif.
