Just got back from a routine checkup and dentist took a couple of x-rays. He said the bone between two of my teeth is lower that it should be (it looked quite a bit lower). He said it would be OK for the next 10 years but I would need to see a hygenist every 4 months. But whats worrying me now is what happens in 10 years time?

He also said that one of my fillings is very deep and we need to keep an eye on it as I may need root canal treatent on it in the future. Is that likely? Never had root canal treatment before and feel a bit ill at the thought of it.

TIA.

Thanks for that, sounds reassuring. Will definetly go the hygenist even if it is £45 a visit. Will be worth it if I keep my teeth I guess.
