How would the recovery be?
My brother was in intensive care over Christmas and New Year.

He had acute kidney failure through not eating / drinking / taking too many of his anti depressants/psychotics - not deliberately.

He has a broken foot and a bad shoulder plus something wrong with his oesophagus which caused internal bleeding.

He was in hosptial for three weeks and has been recuperating with us for two weeks.

He has got a hell of a lot better in the last week but for the last couple of days he has been incredibly tired and has indigestion when he drinks hot drinks.

Do you think this tiredness means that there is anything odd going on or is this just normal recovery? He was getting on really well.

He is on anti-depressants, anti-psychotics and co-codamol - although he's only taking three co-codaml a day now.

No idea but he ought to see his gp. He has obviously been very seriously ill. Good for you for looking after him.
