First of all, thanks for all your good wishes to me and my family, it does help to know that people are thinking of us.
Anyway, he has had some more tests and the good news is that they have found the primary cancer so in theory they can treat him with chemo.
He has an appointment with the oncologist next Monday where they will discuss his options, and a treatment plan (if appropriate)
The secondary cancer in his liver is deffo not operable, so any treatment will only give him more time, but in context with the 3 - 6 month prognosis he was given if they couldn't find the primary, this is the best news we could have hoped for.
Not exactly swinging through the trees shouting "wooo hooo" but, as I say, twas the best of a load of possible bad news.
Thanks again all.
