Medical notes

Has anyone here asked to look at their medical notes, specifically the details of their pregnancies and births?

I want to see mine but don't know how to go about asking.

Can anyone help? Have you done this? How do I go about making the request and who do I ask?

GP to practice manager giving dates you wish.consider asking to see GP in conjunction (most will offer) in order to go through terms used eg medical terms and acronymns. a debrief

Hospital - write to medical records request dates.they may levy a charge.again consider asking someone to go through with you

in both cases they can refuse if it is felt to be detrimental to your mental and/or physical health.
