it's stuck in that bit by the bone at the top. the bit that tickles like mad if you get something lodged there.

did you try your little finger or just the traditional nose-picking one?

Ledodgy · 12/01/2009 13:47

After you had your nose op did it bleed alot. Only my friend recently had an op on her nose and had to go in a couple of weeks later so the dr could remove the clots of blood. Maybe you've got one still up there if no one has removed them previously?

blushingm · 12/01/2009 13:47

ds stuck a popcorn kernal up his nose - the first nurse in a & e didn't believe me it was sort far up!!!

you haven't been eating popcorn have you??

southeastastra · 12/01/2009 13:53

i think that's probably what it is dodgy. it did bleed for a while and they gave me a sodium bicarb wash that cleared out the remainder of stuff. it isn't working for this stubborn thing though

can you feel anything with your little finger? (sorry - but this is clearly a medical emergency.)

southeastastra · 12/01/2009 17:22

LilRedWG · 12/01/2009 19:08

I really would see the GP/practice nurse tomorrow if you can.

warthog · 12/01/2009 22:33

i'd give it one last shot tonight and have a long hot shower. see if you can get anything out.

skay · 13/01/2009 12:03

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 13/01/2009 12:04

southeastastra · 13/01/2009 12:39

it seems to have moved slightly today and so isn't as irritating.

I now have an overwhelming urge to see how far up my nose I can stick my finger. Just in case of a medical emergency, you understand.

Have you tried a really firm massage of the bridge of your nose?

southeastastra · 16/01/2009 19:37

i've tried everything. really i have.

you'd be surprised at how inaccesible that part of your nose is.

robinpud · 16/01/2009 19:42

Could you just Keep a mooncup handy?

southeastastra · 16/01/2009 19:57

suck it out?

OP posts:
AlistairSim · 16/01/2009 20:09

Have you got one of those sucky-things for sucking boogers out of baby noses?

southeastastra · 16/01/2009 20:28

no, but i'm now thinking that suction is the way to go!

thanks

LowSlungAndOverhung · 16/01/2009 20:46

I suggested using a hoover on Monday! Get on with it!

southeastastra · 16/01/2009 20:53

oh sorry so you did

my eyes just were drawn to crochet hook

OP posts:
robinpud · 17/01/2009 11:19

Could the reverse of suction ie a hairdryer blast it up and down the back of your throat?
