Chicken Pox Questions (quick advice needed)

Well he's finally got the pox (I assume, he was exposed last Tuesday and has an itchy back with 3 or 4 red spots coming up), so as a CP virgin

Do I have to take him to the doctor?
Yes or No

What do I need to get for him?
Is it Calamine and Piriton? anything else effective in stopping the itch?

Big lump has just appeared on his neck, under the skin (not where I would imagine it to be glandular swelling though, kind of half-way down the tendon)

its about the size of a 5p piece and moves around under the skin, doesn't hurt or itch - no reddening on skin

is it connected to the CP?

I've never had swollen glands with chicken pox but I suppose it is feasible that they would come up with any infection that attacks the immune system.

this is a picture of swollen glands. Is that what the lump looks like?
