DS in a lot of pain..................stiff neck.

He must have slept funny, he could not lift his head this morning, he has awful pain all down one side of his neck, he is 7, the gp has given his ibuprofen syrup and gel to rub on his neck, but it does'nt seem to have eased it much, he was walking around with his head kinked to one side, any suggestions on what else might help? would a warm towel around the neck help?

warm towel, gentle massage and stretches, regular pain relief. Hope it eases soon.

Warmth helped- hot water bottle.
Massage with arnica oil.
And time. It fades after a while.
