not me but my dad,who is a very fit 75 yr old. He has just had a blood test to check his cholesterol and the doctor has told him he need to come in for a glucose tolerance test as he has raised sugar levels. I take it that this is the same test -with lucozade- that one has in pregnancy ?
Does raised sugar levels automatically mean risk of diabetes- he rang me to ask and I said I'd check it out for him !

I'd guess he is at risk of Type 2 - very common at that age - so they will monitor the levels before and after eating. Sometimes it is manageable with diet , sometimes needs medication. PIL's both have this although MIL's only came on after FIL was diagnosed
