Mothercare digital ear thermometer.... help please

Hello everybody.

I'm hoping one of you lovely ladies out there can help me.

I have a Mothercare Digital Ear Thermometer and somehow DS1 has managed to change the readings from C to F.

Naturally I no longer haver the manual. If anybody knows how I change it back I would be eternally grateful.

It's only got 2 buttons, the power button on the front and the big button on the top for taking the temperature.

Right hopefully it is the same model as the one I've got. I've looked it up for you and it says the following:

'Press and hold the START button for 5 seconds until the current measurement scale (C or F) flashes on the display. Switch the measurement scale by pressing the START button again. When the measurement scale has been chosen, wait for 5 seconds and the thermometer will be ready.'

Phew, does that make sense?! HTH

For anyone else who has this problem, you need to start with the thermometer turned off, then press and hold the start button etc, etc.
