Numb fingers

Had DS2 in July. Breastfeeding was a bit akward and so my arm would often go numb & I'd have shoulder because arm was in a difficult position. i'd get pins and needles in my hands too.
Stopped feeding a couple of weeks ago and pains have stopped, but my left hand still tingles.
In fact I have noticed that my ring finger on left hand is numb most of the time. Should I be worried? What could it be?
I've tried to up the amount of excercise i do in case its a circulation problem, but if it's cirulatory then surely more than one finger would be affected??

Could it be carpal tunnel syndrome?

I was hoping you wouldn't say that! My Mum & Dad have both had their wrists done.

"Most likely the disorder is due to a congenital predisposition"

Oh shit.

Thanks for the link though - very helpful.
