I use body shops hemp cream. Mine were so dry yesterday after cleaning that the skin on my knuckles cracked and bled but have used cream 3 times today and starting to soften up now. I can't win because rubber gloves always bring me out in a rash!

I will look out for that, thanks

Random post before bed, just that the title made me think of my sister... she suffers from this and its due to an underactive thyroid for her apparently. The Body shop hemp cream is good, or something like diprobase or doublebase might be good too - really good greasy stuff, I'm fairly sure you can but these over the counter.

Also, I have quite bad eczema and when it gets like this, i put lipbalm (unscented lipsyl) on my hands before going out to protect them from the wind! Try putting cream on at night time then a pair of cotton gloves, you can get them from body shop or most chemists, they are probably cheaper from the chemist. It helps the cream to soak into your hands and you can really slaver it on.

HTH - legging it to bed....

I get this so bad that my skin splits and bleeds. I try to use bodyshop hand rescue cream and put on cotton gloves for a few hours.
Works everytime, but when my hands are badly cracked it hurst like hell, but its worth it in the end.
