how to catch chickenpox?

Would quite like DD to get it this time around, but not sure how easily it is passed on. Is it airborne or does she need to rub up against the spots?? Or is it just luck of the draw

Partly it's luck I think. Airborne and from the spots IIRC.

Essbee's DD went down with it shortly after sharing a banana with my spotty DS2 but she had played quite closely beforehand. A friends 2 DDs went down with it after a nice close playdate with my DSs too. DS2 got it just after DS1 had recovered.
