is this a breast bud?

dd complaining today that her left nipple is hard, in fact the whole area is,
is this normal, just the start of breast buds?
anyone know?

My dd age 10 was complaining of the same for a while, sparkly.
It felt really hard, as you've described.
I took her to GP...and yep, hers is the start of a breast.

Funny how you forget.
Although mine never really grew anyway.

sounds like one to me, i remember fiddling with mine loads when they started growing as it was just plain wierd having a lump
