I've has the same long drawn out nasty cold/flu thing half the country seems to have had lately. (Hopefully the) Last symptom sems to be a really awful lack of energy. Apart from eating sensibly and drinking lots of water can anyone recommend anything else I could take perhaps? Berroca? Floradix?

I've had post viral tiredness a few times, after shingles adn after flu like things too.
Tbh, I've found most 'remedies' a waste of money, though sometimes feeling like you are doing something to help make you feel better will make you feel better, iyswim.

I sympathise - it is a drag.

A decent diet and light excercise never go amiss and decent rest - not easy with kids around, granted, btu worth a try.

Hope you are much better soon. As you rightly point out, you are not alone at this time of year with all the horrible viruses.

No, no, not post-viral fatigue.
That is quite long lasting and is an illness unto itself.

I just meant normal post viral tiredness. Very common after fluey things and fairly short lived.

Bloody Google - it has a lot to answer for, hasn't it.

No sorry girls I didn't really think I had ME honest! I think I was just amused/alarmed by what Google threw up from the words becasue I'd never heard it referred to like that before. No, I've had several friends struck down with ME and I know it's no laughing matter Jackson. Hope the new year will bring you strength in your struggle.

Good! I was just worried I had alarmed you unnecessarily. Glad I didn't.

God, Google must be a nightmare for hypochondriacs though!
