Speak to the pharmacist or call NHS Direct.

Did your DD have AB's?

She did. She has feb convulsions though and brought one on, so they tend to.

Feeling really guilty about missing work. Break up from school on Fri and feel bad about not being in for last few days and know loads are off.

It is tricky to know when a cold goes from being "just" a cold and starts being something worth treating. I find this the hardest illness to judge and one I have often got wrong - been sent away from GP with a tail between my legs for "only a cold" and told off for leaving a chest infection and ear infection for too long.

If you are worried that you are developing a chest infection, worth phoning your GP and asking their opinion. At least then, if they ask you to come in, they cannot blame you for unnecessary appointment!

Good idea-just looked at NHS direct and fell into the manage home section so will leave today and see how it goes. thanks
