ok it's chickenpox season - anybody want to send some my way??!!

Apparently easter is the high season for chickenpox and I am hoping that dd and ds gets it. Sounds cruel I know but I didnt get them til I was 16 and it was horrendous. I had them everywhere and was really ill. I even had them in my stomach and on my joints. Ouch lol.

they should defo vaccinate against chicken pox, it can be very nasty.

swiperfox, shingles is a sort of 'reactivation' of the chickenpox virus in someone who's already had it. You can't get shingles if you haven't had cpox. You get a painful rash and if you're unlucky the pain can last for months after the rash has gone.
Am a bit worried at the moment because I'm 30 weeks pg and yesterday shook hands with someone who then went on to announce he's had shingles since Xmas... I THINK I had cpox as a kid though.
