Cold remedies.

I have a bloody awful cold,that just hit me last night and is already pretty severe.

Breathing outside is extremely difficult and painful,I just generally feel like crap and now my ears are sore.

I'd be grateful for any cold remedies, no matter how weird and wonderful.

At the moment I'm taking honey, orange juice, paracetamol and have Vicks vaporub.

I'm willing to try anything so all ideas are very welcome.

Beechams

Have you been to the gp though? you might have an infection that needs anti'bs

I'll ask my partner to get some Beechams ty.

I haven't seen my gp yet, I was fine when I left college yesterday then started to feel ill last night and since then it's gotten progressively worse.

I don't want to waste her time as I know they can't do anything about colds but I suppose the painful breathing could be a sign of a chest infection.
