Anyone else had postnatal vertigo?

How long did it take to go and did you have any treatment?

I went to the doctor for mine when I was having quite frequent episodes about 7 months ago, but after I got the referral they really petered out so I didn't go any further with treatment because I thought it had all ended. However, recently I have been getting dizzy if I just dance and wiggle my head too much and the travel sickness lasts for about and hour after just a little head wiggle. This morning I was just tilting my head a few times talking/singing with dd2 and i'm feeling weird still.

My daughter is now 14 months old so i would have thought it would have settled by now.

Yes, I've had it for about 5 years now. It came on after a really bad bout of labarynthitis.

However, it's really, really infrequent now - just a few minutes every couple of months. I didn't have any treatment.

Sorry - just re-read your thread title.

I had positional vertigo, not post-natal vertigo. No idea if they are the same thing.

I didn't know you could get postnatal vertigo, i had vertigo when ds was around 6 mth old, not sure if it was linked.

It came out of the blue and i had it pretty bad, it was much worse if i was in the dark, eg if i was getting in and out of bed, i would literally run into the wall...awful!

I got some tablets off the GP and it went away pretty quickly, i still get it very very mild every now and again.
