Anyone taken Topiramate/Topamax for migraines?

I've been prescribed Topiramate for migraines, and the doc has scared the life out of me with the possible side effects!

Has anyone taken it, and did you have good/bad experiences?

not me but apparently it is great for weight loss!

Yes so I've been told - could do with some help in that area but anything to get this head sorted is a good thing.

I was hoping someone might know about other side effects - confusion/tiredness etc!
