swollen testes ... poor ds

ds has poorly bits just about to take him for out of hours appt to GP

He's been out of sorts all day - and his cheeks are a little puffy, though this certainly isn't his primary symptom

I think it could be Mumps???

oh poor him, it certainly could be mumps if he is puffy round the face as well

how old is he?

Came back from hospital 6pm this evening... it was Epididymo-orchitis an infection of the coiled tubes 'which carry sperm' and the testicals.

They thought it could have been an infected hernia
or
a twisted hernia
or
a twisted testical

I'm exhausted

much respect to all mums and dads of poorly ones who have to be hospitalised frequently and over long periods (my sister included)

DP has been fantastic... he's with ds now settling him to sleep as he can't settle I think he's overtired himself and still poorly but on the mend
