What is this pain in my back?

It's quite high up, rib cage area, and when I breathe in it hurts more. I have been doing a lot of exam marking lately; could it be just an ache from leaning over work or could it be connected to the cough I have???

Could be connected to the cough. Maybe you have pulled a muscle? Could also be a sign of an infection of the membrane around the lung (pleurisy) so you should go and see the GP so they can listen to your chest.
