Day 4 for me and am completely wrecked. Still alternating between being cold and then hot sweats, headache and sore eyes have eased but rest of body still aches. Nose a little clearer but cough on the way.

Worse thing is the sickness part, cant eat anything and have no appetite at all which is probably making it worse as no energy especially combined with little sleep.

Is DS's school play tomorrow so its max medicine for me today and fingers crossed he doest get it. Has been coughing but no other symptons - he had a cold recently so hoping e has some immunity.

For those with the sore eyes, I used DS's Mr Bump bruise soother - really helped with both my eyes and temperature.

Hope you can make the play tomorrow
Will perhaps send DH out to look for mr bump.
Thank god he is on holiday for 2 weeks as i would not be able to cope.

How are you all feeling today?

Make sure you all drink loads and loads, I had no idea I was so dehydrated through the fever, I have a UTI now so am still off uni. My lovely GP gave me a note though.

Dh has got this. It started on sunday so I fear we have quite a long time to go
Should I call the doctor?
He was sick sunday night and has felt achey , tired, hot, sweaty and knackared since. He's in bed now. Been of 2 days. He doesn't get sick pay

ds was sick in the night too. dd was sick on friday. ds had the flu jab so hopefully he wont be too bad.

There's no need for the GP unless you are concerned or he has a headache/aversion to bright lights/fever. It's a virus so there's not alot they can do. Just give him plenty to drink, some ibuprofen and paracetamol.
I'm not sure if it is the same strain as the flu so I don't know how effective the jab will be so you'll have to keep an eye on ds.

Poor you and them! I hope they are feeling better soon.
