Is it normal to ache so much after a vomiting bug?

Have had that awful D&V bug, really severe vomiting for 12 hrs solid, but now i ache so bad, my ribs, back, neck.

Is it normal to ache so much? i feel like i have been beaten up.

You have probably pulled a muscle or a muscles.

Yes, I think violent vomiting can leave you feeling very achey and sore

yes - it's a real strain on your stomach muscles etc etc,hope you feel better soon

Thanks all, yes i am not being sick but still feel "off", don't want to eat but i am eating bits of toast here and there.

The thing is, i have just got over a cold, so i still have a cough, and i end up grimacing with each cough (flash back to c section lol).

Ouch, hope you kick it soon, can you take some cough meds to ease that?

Yes, i have been taking some, but it never seems to work really does it

Take some honey in warm juice and some paracetamol. The honey will ease the cough and the paracetamol should help your aches. Sorry you are feeling so bad.
