Another cold bug thread.

Came down very quickly with a horrible cold on Saturday, was quite rough but come Monday it had completely gone, fast foward to this P.M i get a horrible sore throat and am now having a few dizzy spells.

Is this how these bugs are showing themselves?

I think there are loads of different variations, but the overriding theme seems to be that they come and go for ages. Mine started 2 weeks ago with flu-like aches, pains & headaches. Quickly turned to really horrible earache and sore throat - I could barely swallow at all for three days. As that began to fade the cough turned up. A couple of days ago I thought that was getting better, now it's back with a vengeance with cold symptoms to boot. Isn't winter a joy? Hope you start to feel better soon.

I've had mild earache on and off for a week too. Oh well atleast DH is off for 5 weeks as of Sunday and i can take to my bed.

so this is what I have
Felt a bit under the weather yesterday. Woke up with horrendous earache in the night and feeling very bleugh. dh was snoring so I went to find another room to try and get comfy. dh found me sobbing in pain lying on the spare room floor. I think I must have been a bit delerious cos it was not a rational place for me to be lying!

Yes there seem to be a lot of sicken by stealth bugs about atm. DD, DP and I have had an on/off cold for about 4 weeks now. Keep thinking we're better and then it gets us again. And now DD's got an on/off tummy bug too She's ok for about 12 hours then ill, then better for 12 hours... it's very strange. Hope you are all better soon

Sounds like what i have had, felt rought last week for 2 days, felt fine for a couple days and now a full blown cold .

Cold seems to have gone now (again), but i feel a bit bleugh and sicky.

DS is at my MILs and all that side of the family have had a stomach bug this week, which he is bound to get and bring home with him on Monday.

Never ending at the minute.
