It feels like a BRAIN HAEMORRAGE, anyone care to give a more conservative diagnosis?

My head is hurting ALOT
i have had a 'head cold' thing for a week or so and now, my blocked and runny nose has after the delightful green snot has produced masses of blood stained mucous.

Can you sinus(es/i?) bleed?

Sounds like a sinus infection to me! You may need AB's.

But brain haemmorage sounds better

They can. Irritation and burst blood vessels.

See a doc in the morning or sooner if the pain gets worse.

My Dad died of a brain haemorrage. Please don't throw the term around losely. You wouldn't describe something as feeling like cancer, would you? The term still cuts through me like a knife.

Sinus infection can be AGONY. Does it hurt more when you move your head/press your temples/put your head down? If so it sounds like your sinus. With the blood though, would go to the GP.

Sorry nicky, I should not have joked either

nickytwotimes · 03/12/2008 20:25

I probably would have too before it happened to someone close to me Hipp.

Sorry - I'm a bit sensitive tonight.

Hope your rotten cold feels better soon.

Sinus infections suck.

littleducks · 03/12/2008 20:33

sorry nicky tbh think of it like cancer, i just knew that was one reason for prolonged nose bleeding and head pain but was sure it wasnt what was wrong with me and couldnt work out what else could be bleeding, however i see that it is a bit inapropriate

so i might have to have a dr trip, oh god i really dont want abs, am bfing and they really upset the baby ime
