Hello,
My son had his MMR at 10 months as we were travel abroad to a high risk area for measles. I was told that he would have to have it again at 13 months since his immune system would not have been developed enough to keep him safely innoculated until the next vacinne at around 3yrs.

He had quite a bad reaction to the first one so feel quite nervous to give him it again.
Just wondered if anyone else has been in a similar situation or has any advice about his

I wouldn't be keen on that. Can you have a blood test to check his immunity, if he needs a top up you could go for the single vaccine.

I guess I could ask about the blood check, but how will that help me now as he is 13 months. Will that be able to tell me that the MMR are is still in his system?
