Intubation problems. What happens with any subsequent GAs?

I had DD last year by emergency cs under a GA. On the ward afterwards the anaesthetist and surgeon came to see me to advise that there had been real problems with intubation and, if I had other children by cs it would have to be with a spinal/epidural. Didn't take a lot of notice at the time as so happy to have DD and also under the influence of morphine. However, recently have been thinking about it quite a bit, not so much from a cs point of view but needing a GA for any other surgery/procedure that I might have to have. Have actually become scared about what could happen. Just wondering if anyone else has had intubation problems and gone on to have subsequent GAs and can let me know what the medical team do about it.
