I am sure I am not old enough to have a corn and I have bought corn plasters but they have made me feel even older .

It hurts and I can only wear sensible shoes and it still hurts .

Does anybody know of any magic treatment ?

I want to be able to wear something a bit more impressive than trainers or my boring flat boots

Get yourself a pedicure booked, that will get rid of it.

I did think of that but do you think it would take just one visit ?

I don't think I could handle the prodding about more than once (not to mention the embarrassment )

It has been there a while as I was trying to treat it by ignoring it and hoping it dissapear all by itself .

That plan didn't work too well

They don't really care tbh - they will have seen far worse than a corn believe me.

I think they will get most of the hard skin off surrounding it for you which will probably ease the pressure a little, so even if you go once, you may be able to manage it yourself after that with a corn plaster.

I have had a few pedicures with Scholl, they are very good if not a little expensive.

Thank you , I will make an appointment and brave it .

Hopefully I can manage it without giggling like a loon . Last time I had a pedicure it was far from relaxing as I am very ticklish

Have just had this vision of you sat in the chair waving your legs about because the pedicurist has tried to get hold of your foot

Your vision is not far from the truth

Ticklish and not wanting the pain , I think she may need a tip afterwards
