It went
Cold (for 2 weeks)
GP = A-Bs (chest infection for one week)
Gp = A-Bs (chest infection for one week)
two weeks better
GP = A-Bs (chest infection for one week)
Gp = A-Bs (urine infection for one week)

Now I am not completely sure either chest infection or urine infection has gone....or at least if it wet it came back

Bumping for you - haven't a clue myself

Yes you need to go to the GPs again For treatment if you still have the infections, and maybe also to ask why they aren't clearing up / or keep re-occuring.
Poor you, sounds like you've have a hard time recently

I would go again and ask what else they can suggest for rebuilding your immune system. Repeated ABs just wear it down. Have you tried any alternative therapy? I know it can seem flakey, but after a bad run of illnesses I reluctantly saw an acupunturist on a good friend's insistance, and she suggested dietry changes as well as treating me and I have been much healthier for the three years since I started following her advice.

I had to take a lot of anti-biotics after an operation and afterwards I got some friendly bacteria tablets from holland and barretts (antibiotics kill the good bacteria as well as the bad - and the good ones help your immune system). I can't remember what they were called but I do remember you had to keep them in the fridge (sorry not much help I know).

Were they acidophilus PP? I have some of those from h&b and you have to keep them in the fridge.

And slug back the live yoghurt. I think yeo valley and longley farm of the normal live yoghurts have enough friendly bugs, and I understand yakult has some evidence behind it for the mega dosing stuff. It's rank though .
