Ouch! Burning bits ...

I have a very, very sore urethra (the bit the wee comes out of); am quite swollen around it.

However, I don't have cloudy pee or an urge to wee a lot or any additional burning when weeing.

So not custitis then??

Anyone find this familiar?

sounds like a UTI (with the infection being in your ureathra which is why you are not getting burning after - the pain and the swelling around it would point to infection) - get yourself off the to DRs hoping that you feel better soon.

Yes get to docs for some advice but also, to help when you go, pour a jug of warm water over yourself down below while you go.

Thank you both.

did you manage to get to the DR? I personally would be upping my fluids to try and flush the infection out.

No GP appt yet - baby dd is ailing and I didn't want to drag her out. I am indeed chugging water and cranberry juice ....

Thanks for thinking of me!
