Colposuspension - any advice?

Hi - my consultant has recommended a colposuspension. I'm worried about the recovery and thinking about having the TVT/TOT option instead. Is it really 6-8 weeks recovery? I've read I won't be able to lift more than a full kettle. Is that really true? I have two ds and two cats so that might be hard! Advice please - I've got to decide pretty soon.

I've had the TVT and it didn't work. Just seen the consultant today and he has recommended colposuspension. I have two dds so am aprehensive about the recovery but realyy want to get the problem sorted.
