A question about PCOS

Since before getting pregnant I have been getting a sharp shooting pain in my lower right abdomen. Didn't notice it throughout pregnancy and for most of bfing, but since i have stopped feeding through the night and my period has returned, so have the pains. They are not terribly frequent or strong enough to stop me doing anything.

I know that there is a history of PCOS on my paternal side of the family (in female cousins) and am wondering if this could be it? I have quite bad skin which has got worse since having DS, but has never been great. I'm a fairly hairy individual, but have always been and dont have any unusual or new hairy bits.

Just wondering if anyone has experience of this? I have a bit of a phobia of going to the Dr's but am willing to be brave if i have to [pathetic emoticon].

TIA
