alcohol related question

dh who i reckon drinks far to much, a box of red wine in 2 days, more than 2 bottles per night,
gave up the booze (again) on or around 1st november.
then this presumed uti comes up,
says he has been feelign flu like for a week?
only mentioned the urinary symptoms yesterday.
could they be related?

all the medics out/in bed?

I'M NOT A MEDIC - but did your DH go cold turkey? He was drinking pretty heavily before - I think you're supposed to cut down slowly under medical supervision, not just stop cold.

No ideas re. UTI, sorry.

If the alcoholic drinks have not been replaced with water/juice then it's very possible.

Fluid intake is vital when coming off excess alcohol
