constipation in 11yr old

my ds has been constipated for about 11 days,he has been on medication had laxatives has suppositories and an enema.the enema worked alittle then been put back on movical 8 sachets a day he is in agony,we even went to a and e with him.anyone with any advice as school on my back now because of absence.has good diet bran flakes for breakfast,lots of fruit and veg,

what has the gp said?

to up his movocol to 8 packets and see what happens and take nurofen for pain.he doesnt want nothing to eat he said hes full.normally eats me out of food and drink.

dd was like that went off her food.

have you thought of posting in sn, I know this isn't a sn situation, but a lot of us on the sn topic deal with constipation on a day to day basis. so someone might have an answer(sorry I haven't as movicol worked)

thanks 2shoes just given him sugar free mints has made him have the runs but at least some has come out his stomach is sytill rock hard
