You know the swollen glands you get when you have tonsillitus - what exactly are they?

& can they become permanently swollen or alternately swollen and baggy (ie the same size but not full)

I have one you see & I'm not sure if it is worth seeing the GP about (I have been a few times this last couple of months)

No appointments until Thursday (which is very unlike my surgery tbh)

I don't think it's anything to worry Katy.

I've got the hospital Friday morning! Hoping to get the bottom (excuse the pun) of my 'lady' problems then. Between us we could feel a million dollars by Saturday

Feeling really rotten tonight

My Jaw is clicking, my neck & jaw ache, my gland is about the size of a victoria plum (well a largish grape)

I am struggling to eat/chew or open my mouth

I am on a course tomorrow so I can't even get an emergency appointment - I may go to the drop in on my way home

Feeling remarkably better this morning - I slept on the settee (so upright) & my gland is definitely down, still dreading the course but hey-ho

Hi Katy I had PND after my 1st ds and had terrible jaw and neck problems, with me it's anxiety and stress, my friend gets this too it's horrible. Anxiety can show in so many forms I have learnt.

Hope your course went well, glad your feeling better today. Sometimes it's just good to talk to someone so you don't feel like your going mad

The gland is part of the ear infection
