Had thrush at the end of last week, have used the canestan combo and now a few days later my fanny is numb.

Is it related or do I have another fanny ailment?

How do you know its numb, have you tried a small prick?.

Boom boom

Beauregard · 03/11/2008 21:45

lol
not lol @ numb vag though

twinsetandpearls · 03/11/2008 21:45

Sexual activity was attempted earlier and I had no feeling. It is now feeling very odd.

No small pricks in this house!

you're sure it was canasten, and not deep heat. When the burn goes, the numb feeling spreads.

twinsetandpearls · 03/11/2008 21:46

I should think not nether, how you can possible mock my nether region issues with a name like that is beyond me.

Don't have any words of wisdom but hope someone will come along who has some experience of this.

Do you have any other symptoms?

Could you be having some sort of reaction to the cream perhaps?

Congratulations on the most confusing (and entertaining) thread title of the day

Very odd as in you have pins and needles? Or very odd as is no feeling at all?

If the latter, you might want to see the doc - you could have an allergic reaction (and it's always entertaining for GPs to hear about this stuff)

cheesesarnie · 03/11/2008 21:48

your poor fanjo isnt having a good time atm isnt it.id see gp.

TurkeyLurkey · 03/11/2008 21:50

Are you going to trim it before you go in case you have to get it out for the doc? Always a dilema I think.

misselizabethbennet · 03/11/2008 21:51

You really need to see the GP, you know.

TurkeyLurkey · 03/11/2008 21:54

You could always seize the moment and wax it whilst its numb.

Every cloud has a silver lining and all that.....

whomovedmychocolate · 03/11/2008 21:54

TurkeyLurkey - you never know, she might be going to see Doctor Livingstone

gigglewitch · 03/11/2008 21:55

This is mad! Classic thread within 5 minutes of beginning

TSAP - I seem to recall that canesten can numb the area, stop using it, wait, if your bits go a funny colour then do something quick.

twinsetandpearls · 03/11/2008 22:03

Not sure if I would call it pins and needles but there is just no feeling there at all. A bit like when your foot or hand goes numb and you can pinch it and feel nothing. Not that I have been pinching my fanny but you know what I mean....?

OP posts:
twinsetandpearls · 03/11/2008 22:04

Will google side effects of canestan.

FrayedKnot · 03/11/2008 22:07

Canestan can definitely make things go a bit numb for a while.
