Get to the Doctors, don't suffer at home colditz

SmugColditz · 03/11/2008 10:26

He'll just give me painkillers, and I can't take anything opiate based, just [paracetamol or ibuprofen,. Pointless going.

I get this sometimes. Is a combination of sleeping on it funny and being too fat.

Walking helps, and gentle exercise. Going back to bed makes it worse in the long run.

Mine sends shooting pains down my leg and gets stiff so stairs etc are difficult.

TheArmadillo · 03/11/2008 10:30

I mentioned mine to gp when I went for something else and he gave me some gel to rub in it.

Other than that I use stnadard painkillers.

SmugColditz · 03/11/2008 10:36

I am couple of stone overweight. But I have a memory foam mattress so my bed shouldn't be causing this! Plus I am much much lighter than I have been for the past 5 years.

post natal spd/pelvic imbalance
Get to rehab physio
I had 14mths of pure hell with nerve pain
Sleep with pillow betweenlegs and side sleep

mamainstripes · 03/11/2008 10:46

I'm pg and have hip pain atm which I also had in my other pregnancies. Its not spd but my pelvis is tilted and the pain been exacerbated by pregnancy. I went to osteopath last week and have hardly any pain at all now.

TooTicky · 03/11/2008 10:58

My hips have been troubling me recently at night. I have to keep turning over. And I'm not pg.
Sorry, I'm not much help, am I?
