How much sleep would you expect a 15 month to have ..personally i think my friends little boy sleeps too much...he sleeps all night 7-7 although he will often sleep in till sometimes 8.30 /8.45 then will sleep 2-3 hours in the morning and at least another hour sometimes two in the afternoon...and still go to bed at 7pm..this seems fat to much for his age.. its not as though hes very active running around everywhere.he s rather quiet and can walk but although walking for a couple of months he`s still very robot like and wobbly.. any views?

Seems too much to me. Although a loooonnngg time ago mine stopped 2 naps at about 9 months. They did sleep 12/13 hours per night and went on having an afternoon nap 1-2 hours until about 3.

I don't know where he can fit in any playing/development time.

Bamb, My ds is 15 months and sleeps 8-8 at night and then 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. He's very active though. Why would anyone discourage a child from sleeping? His nap times are the best part of my day!
