penicillin making toddler vomit.

Hi all, it's been a while.

My ds is 2 and has just been prescribed penicillin for tonsillitis.
He's not had antibiotics before and i don't really know if he needs these as Doc didn't take swab and said it 'could' be viral!

Anyway, he's had 4 doses and keeps vomitting with it so i intend to stop and take him back on Mondau and ask her to take a swab and then if he DOES need them to get other antibiotics.

Does this sound o.k? (not sure about stopping a course but tbh i don't think he's ingested any.

Sounds sensible to me. I'd be a bit worried that he was allergic to it.

Can you contact an out of hours dr to get an alternative anti-biotic?
