tender boobs - why????

is there any reason other than pregnancy that my boobs are tender and a bit achy? Don't want to be pregnant and am getting worried....

is it the middle of your cycle?

pre-menstrual?

period was due last week - only I never have one....haven't done for last 2 years.

tender breasts can be a sign of too much oestrogen. if the tenderness is pre menstural then this is likely to be the cause.
all depends on your age, when the tenderness occurs, how bad, any other symptoms?

ps, but studies have suggested that around 3% only of breast pain/tenderness problems are related to breast cancer, so not something to worry overly about

oops, forgot again, must be the time of night!! not worrying if you can will help as stress can increase oestrogen levels and so cause more tenderness!!

Sorry, but my advice is to do a test. Sore boobs are the first sign for me that I'm pregnant!

thanks! Did test today and not pg - phew! It was the 1st sign of prenancy for me as well! Am38, no other symptoms - they just feel full iykwim! Like they did when b/feeding
