sounds like an ulcer to me

my SIL in pregnancy developed an ulcer on her leg and one on her tongue (by the end of her pregnancy the one on her tongue was the size of a 50p piece and about a cm thick and she had to have it surgically removed) - she was told that it happened to some women in pregnancy

the only reason I would think it wasn't an ulcer is because a dentist should recognise it quite quickly

then again I went blind in one eye with DS pregnancy (for 8 months due to hemmorhage) and then developed asthma with DD .. so I think we're a family of bizarre pregnancy induced ailments

it sounds like an abscess meggymoo - I had one above one of my incisors many years ago. The tooth had decay (it had been damaged, falling of a horse) and the stuff was draining out through my gum. They had to drill through the tooth to relieve the pressure - does it feel as though there is pressure there.

It could be a ranula (a kind of cyst in your mouth - not scary or sinister so don't worry). I had one and had to have it exised at the dental hospital (probably not what you want to hear). Does it ever burst? Mine used to burst and refill - gross.

I have recurring cysts in my mouth that go lighter in colour as they grow and fill up, have always gone away with no probs. If it hurts or you are worried perhaps worth going back for another look - or even your GP to check it out.

afraid i dont know what the problem is with your gun but i do think you should know that CORSODYL mouthwash will stain your teeth quite badly and very quickly
