I'm watching this, we have smoke alarms with built in carbon monoxide detectors 2 downstairs and one upstairs.

They are only £30 each but are fab they make a different noise when signalling for carbon monoxide/smoke one is a high pitch wail other is like a fire alarm.

We already had them installed when we moved in because this is a housing association house but would advise anyone to spend that bit extra and get them!

Mamadiva can you let me know who manufactures them, I have been looking for exactly that and the man in B&Q said they didn't exist!

My aunt uncle and their 2 children died of CO poisioning so I am a bit over sensitive of this.
