Why is he in pain?

Has anyone else watched their baby experience what looks like excruciating pain when the baby wants to break wind or poo?

My baby is 6 weeks old and makes a huge fuss when he needs to go to the toilet, and has done this from birth. He doesn't actually have any difficulty in doing the deed - he generates plently wet and dirty nappies, and he farts like a trooper (!!) when he's asleep or breastfeeding (i.e. when he's not thinking about it). Will he grow out of it?!

Yes, and Yes. We used to call DS poos - explosions as they were so loud. DOn't worry about it, I'm sure he's fine.
