cystitis - how quickly do antibiotics work?

I took a large dose 3 hours ago but it's just getting worse - am now peeing blood

Please tell me I'll get some sleep tonight.

Dont worry, exactly the same has happened to me and I bet you it will start easing up by tomorrow night (er I mean tonight) but remember to drink as much water as you can, it really helps.
