I would take the pills. I've combined brufen and paracetamol before because they work in different ways and there is no point in suffering.

try co-codamol, tis better than paracetemol.

Also your body heals quicker if you are not in pain because you don't hold yourself in a tense way and restrict blood flow to the muscles (which is required for recovery).

Oh yes I can't move without the Ibs - I am more pondering the paracetemol
