What do you mean? Those discs that you put on the heel to make the shoe last longer?

cocoleBOO · 10/10/2008 15:00

No they are heel inserts you put in your shoe. My mum has seen them advertised and was going to buy them to see if, as they claim, help with her arthritis.

Never heard of them. But there used to be those copper bracelets didn't there and they had to fit tightly against your skin for you to get a benefit. So would they work if you had socks on ? is my question. Besides the soles of your feet are quite thick too so I would have thought that would have an effect too.

Funny I wondered about socks, too. It says in the blurb that you need the sweat of your feet to activate the copper, blurgh. My mum wears a bangle and says it helps, the inserts are for knee and back pain.

Never heard of them, my mum used to make me wear the other ones though. They were hideous and made so much noise.
